Mrs. Hattie Taylor Pullins

Mrs. Hattie Taylor Pullins was born on November 4, 1938 in Colquitt County, Georgia to the late Willie James Taylor and the late Lila Mae Colbert Taylor. Hattie transitioned from her earthly home on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Tift Regional Medical Center. She was employed with the Colquitt County Board of Education for over 10 years; and Riverside Manufacturing in the Administrative Office for over 15 years. She was a faithful member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, where she served faithfully on the Choir, Women’s Auxiliary and chairperson for Relay for Life. She played basketball for William Bryant High. Hattie enjoyed softball, fishing and bingo. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Earl Pullins, Sr.; her parents; one son, Warren Pullins; one brother, Joe Van Taylor; and one sister, Mary Dennis Davis. She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, James E. Pullins, Jr. (Shelia) of Tifton, Georgia and Gary Pullins of Moultrie, Georgia; one sister, Flossie Alexander of Atlanta, Georgia; two grandchildren, Jalisa Pullins Nduka (O.J.) of Houston, Texas, Chelsea Todd of Tifton, Georgia; one great-grandchild, Micah Nduka of Houston, Texas; two special friends, Earnestine Williams of Moultrie, Georgia, Doris Scott of Atlanta, Georgia; god-children, Ralph and Catherine Shannon of Moultrie, Georgia; and a host of other relatives and friends.
