    Mrs. Lucile Tuff-Lee

    January 29, 1935 - July 24, 2018

We are here today to celebrate Mrs. Lucile Lee’s mission on this earth, which has now been completed. Her charge began January 29, 1935 in Eastman, Georgia. She was the youngest child born to Mr. and Mrs. Ira Tuff. Mrs. Lee went to be with her Lord on Tuesday evening, July 24, 2018 after a struggle with Pancreatic Cancer at the home of her devoted and compassionate daughter Patricia and son-in-law, Jimmy under the guidance of God and hospice. THE DASH: The date you were born and date you died aren’t what really matters. It’s “the dash”-those years in between and what you do with them-that does. Mrs. Lee was educated in the public schools of Colquitt County. She worked various jobs during her lifetime, but a good homemaker was her longest and most rewarding occupation. The homemaker job took intelligence, enthusiasm, sympathy, imagination, judgement, perseverance, adaptability and self-management. Mother Lee was a dedicated and active member of the St. James Pentecostal Church, formerly St. James Church of God in Christ until her illness where she held the office of treasurer for the Benevolent Fund. Mrs. Lee had a prior membership with the Macedonia Baptist Church. She valued spending time with family and friends, helping others was her passion. Mrs. Lee enjoyed flower gardening. She loved shopping. Her love for fashion was an extension of her personality. She designed and hand sewed clothes for her huge doll collection that was on display in her home. Mrs. Lee would say to all today, in her gentle and polite way, remember the good life I lived, while I was strong. My mind is at ease my soul is at rest. The kind-firm side of Mrs. Lee would say, don’t cry for me, I’ll be okay, Heaven is my home now. Mrs. Lee lived her life to the fullest and would say to all today…..LIVE. ALWAYS IN OUR HEARTS Mrs. Lee will be sadly and lovingly remembered by her spouse of 14 ½ years, Elder John Lee and her only living siblings Mrs. Lenora Williams of Moultrie, Georgia. She will be forever remembered by her children; Charles Spradley of Sparks, Georgia; Leon Spradley (Peggy); Clara (Robert) Lard; Patricia (Jimmy) King, Tela (Earl) Yates; all of Moultrie, Georgia, and Emma (Richard) Glaze of Tuskegee, AL. She will be fondly remembered by her 37 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren; notably oldest grand-daughters, Kahlil Spradley and Natalie James; and the two youngest grand-daughters, Nychell Jones and Gabrielle Taylor; a host of nieces, nephews, other family members , host of step-children and friends; special friends, Pearl Merritt, Alisha Zennah and Eve Hayes of Moultrie, Georgia; Mrs. Lee was predeceased by her parents Ira and Mollie Tuff, her step-father, Ed Ford, two brothers, three sisters, a son Cornelius James, spouse #1 Odell Spradley, #2, Willie Moses James and #3 L.D. Jones.
