Mary Alice Sims Osby was born on May 25, 1945 in Norman Park, Georgia to the late Clayton Sims, Sr. and the late Minnie Pearl Marshall Sims. Mary Osby transitioned from her earthly home on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center. She was a faithful member of Faith Deliverance Center in Norman Park, Georgia, where she was a Sunday School Teacher for the Youth Ministry, She enjoyed attending church, precious moments with her children and grandchildren and shopping. She was preceded in death by her husband Earnest Lee Osby, Sr.; parents; and 3 daughters, Carla Denise Sims, Terry Jean Sims Jackson and Tammy Lynn Sims Donaldson; two grandsons, Demetrius Sims and Quantavish Osby. She leaves to cherish her memories three sons, Tony Osby (Teresa Thornton) and Jerome Osby (special daughter-in-law, Stephanie) both of Valdosta, Georgia, and Richard Osby of Ellenton, Georgia; daughters, Sandra Moore (Fletcher) of Moultrie, Georgia and Pamela Jackson (Wayne) of Valdosta, Georgia; 3 brothers, Elder Clayton Sims, Jr. of Norman Park, Georgia, Reverend Walter Allen Sims (First Lady Queen) of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Apostle Curtis Sims (First Lady Betty of Orlando, Florida; 7 sisters, Elizabeth Revis, Evelyn Starkley, Dorothy Ann Manning (Toru), Carolyn Sims Dowdell (Gene) and Shirley Ann Davis all of Orlando, Florida, Katherine Brown of Moultrie, Georgia; special grand-daughter, Ashley Aldridge, special friend Lynn Mitchell, special grand-son Curtis Sims, and a host of grandchildren; great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
